ISNM provides an effective platform for communication and networking among members of academia and industry from all over the world. Members are able to effectively exchange new ideas, discoveries and latest achievements from their areas of expertise. By encouraging the dissemination of knowledge through internal seminars and conferences, ISNM hopes to promote the development of new technologies and innovations in all aspects of nanomanufacturing.
Our Mission
ISNM promotes technological innovation by encouraging collaboration and networking among peers, progressing education of nanotechnology on all levels of society, and publishing journals, books, and newsletters of the latest developments in nanomanufacturing.
Global trends towards miniaturization have opened new fields in science and technology. The push for nanotechnology has evolved the field of manufacturing so that a new discipline known as nanomanufacturing has emerged. Nanomanufacturing encompasses the synthesis of nano-materials, fabrication of nano-devices and nano-systems, nano-characterization, and the applications of nanoscience and nanotechnologies.
Nanomanufacturing progresses at an unprecedented rate with innovations and new discoveries on a daily basis. The economic and social impact has expanded to all corners of the globe. The products derived from nanomanufacturing have become an integral part of our daily lives. Advances in field have led to the creation of millions of jobs worldwide. Nanomanufacturing has proved to be a cornerstone for technological innovation now as well as for future generations.
Who We Are.
ISNM was initiated in 2006 and subsequently launched in 2008 by a group of leading scientists and engineers from all over the world in order to serve the fast growing community.
ISNM has had 72 Fellows from top Universities and Institute in16 countries located in Europe, Canada, USA, Australia, and Asia.
