The International Academy of Engineering and Technology (AET) has organized 3 AET seminars to stimulate the communication within academic and industrial communities.

On June 18th, Dr. Peter de Groot, the Executive Director of R&D at Zygo Corporation, gave an online talk on "Turbulent History of Precision Interferometric Stage Positioning".

On September 8th, Prof. Steven Y. Liang from Georgia Institute of Technology gave an online talk on "Computational Mechanics for Metal Additive Manufacturing". 

​

On September 24th, Mr Barry Kennedy, the CEO of Irish Manufacturing Research, gave an online talk on " Transformation to Sustainable Manufacturing - a Global Imperative". 

 

The AET Seminars attracted about 200 participants in total and inspired a warm discussion each time. The videos of the presentations can be accessed from AET website: www.aet-ac.org.
